DOAB is a persian term which means BETWEEN THE TWO. Doab is in context of punjabi language is interpreted as te area between the two rivers.

- BARI DOAB - Between BEAS and RAVI rivers.
- RACHNA DOAB - Between RAVI and CHENAB rivers.
- CHAL / JECH DOAB - Between CHENAB and JHELUM rivers.
- SINDH SAGAR DOAB - Between JHELUM and INDUS rivers.
